Just out of curiosity......
...how often, and where will you be driving faster than the governed speed limit on your car????
But anyway, to answer your question, the "chip" or reprogrammed ECU will not give any major performance HP gains on the 4.2 engine. It WILL remove the speed governor.

As long as it would take a 4000 lb car with sub 300 hp to reach over 135 mph..its dangerous and dumb
to try to achieve that on public roads..
My 998 (and other average superbikes) can do 135 PLUS in 8-10 sec and i consider THAT dumb on public roads..
Take some driving classes, do some track days..and spare other families on the road...

Exactly. Doing that on a public road is dangerous and stupid.
If you kill yourself...well, big deal. It's through your own stupidity. However, it's much more likely that you'll injure or kill someone else. Wanna go fast? Go to the track.

Your car came with a speed "limiter" because of the tires on it. If you
remove the speed limiter be sure to have tires (and brakes) capable of functioning fully at those speeds and forces. That goes for the nut behind the wheel as well.
