Need Help finding tranmission bearing
Hi Everyone, I have a 2001 Audi A6 C5 Quattro 4.2 w/auto transmission. The Transmission started slipping badly btwn 1st and 2nd gear so I took it in the trans shop to have it rebuilt. Long story short they Shop owner) can not find the last bearing that goes in the transmission, going on two weeks they have had my car with my completed transmission sitting there waiting for this bearing. The audi part number is O1V-409775. Bearing number F-222962.1. Dealer says no bearing any where in the usa and might find one in Canada. Has anyone out there run into this problem and found a cross referenced part that works?
thank you very much for any info you can provide

ZF Headquarters
Try contacting the ZF Transmissions headquarters in Chicago, see the link below for numbers. Get to tech support, and ask them for the names of rebuilders/retailers who will sell parts .The larger ZF rebuilders are likely to have access to the part.
Good Luck.
