Default Newbie Engine Temp Question

Hi Guys

Please forgive me if this is a sill question, but being a new Audi owner I'm a little twitchy and tend to get paranoid about cars going wrong!

Is it normal for a 2.4 A6 engine to be too hot to touch after sitting for 2hrs after a 20 mile run?
I've never owned an Audi but it seems incredibly hot compared to my last car (A Nissan). All the guages read OK and the collant level is fine .... although I did notice that I appear to have a small leak in the T-Section piping near the resovoir that's been dripping onto the engine cover.

Besides the leak that I'll get looked at, am I being over paranoid as far as the engine temp goes?
Many thanks

Thanks
It's just that it's the hottest engine I've ever had in a car - I could literally fry egg's on the bonnet - which after a 20 min drive and then sitting in the the shade for 2hrs really surprised me - Bear in mind I'm in the UK which isn't really renowned for heat

Thanks for putting my mind at rest
