Oil leak, drops on the ground mimic oil pan.

Oil leak, drops on the ground mimic oil pan.
Hey everyone! Until recently I've been fairly lucky with repairs and general maintenance on my 2.8. A couple of years ago I did the valve cover gaskets, and replaced all the breather hoses. Last week It looked like I was bleeding a bit from the oil cooler, so I replaced that gasket. It turns out I'm leaking from somewhere above the oil pan. Its just enough to drop oil on the ground that is the same shape as the oil pan. You can literally take the oil pan off, set it over the oil leak drops on the ground, and its a match. No part is any heavier then any other. Before I start a full on cleaning job of the underside, are there any typical leaks that would give these types of oil spots on the ground. I'm a little over 235k and my only leaks in the past were the rear main and the valve covers. Also, not sure if this is Murphy's Law or what, but I recently started hearing what sounds like the power steering pump going. The fluid on the ground is oil, and the ps fluid is topped off. Thanks for any input.
