Sooo I have been installing my H&R Coilovers on my 2004 Audi A6 S-line for the past like week, and I keep getting caught up in these pickles >_<... first I couldnt get the front end to even out, now that I did, I cant figure out the rear at all.

... Here is the issue.... the perch is all the way down on the shock... so low that it is actually hitting the axle (pretty much sits on the axle, yet there is like a 1.5 inch wheel gap... Another member on Audizine has taken a pic of his set up, and for some reason his car sits way lower even with the spring perch higher than mine currently is. Another member on audizine, cut off half of his coil because I guess he was experiencing the same problem, but he hasnt replied to the thread again with details, which I really need at this point. Yesterday I cut off about an inch and a half of coil from each of rear springs, and It seems like the car didnt sit any lower at all... What am I missing here guys? anyone have any advice? help? ideas?

Are there any instructions anywhere online on the assembly of A6 coilovers? (rears)
