Default Florida Torque Converter vs. Revmax

Hi, I recently got this awesome CEL (P0741) that told me my torque converter is in the process of dying. I have perused the forums and decided to replace it before it becomes undriveable instead of what I've heard others doing which is just continue to drive it with the problem.

Anyway I have decided to replace the TC myself and plan on doing a write up of it as I go along. The thing that I'm debating with myself though is should I get the torque converter from "Florida Torque Converter", or "Revmax". I also can't decide weather, if I were to go revmax, to get stage one or two. I am looking for just a more reliable replacement without breaking the bank (L10) since the one getting replaced was changed out less than two years ago I'd rather not get bit again. Let me know your thoughts.

I ordered the RevMax stage 2 for my 04 A6. Have not received it yet as they are behind on the production. But my replacement motor has not showed up yet either. So I am anxious to see ow it performs also.

I had a revmax in my diesel truck and it worked well. Had 1200 lbs torque through it and it held with out any problems.

How long have you been waiting for it? That's another thing I forgot to consider I was hoping to start this project in a little less than a month.

They are out of cores so I had had to send mine in. It's about a 4 day ship each way. So i'm looking at 2 weeks.

If you don't send the core in they stated anywhere between 3-4 weeks.
