Did we miss something on that post.
In post #13 I stated I had code P0341 just like the OP. Intake cam was off a tooth.

Ok gotcha. Ill start from the begining. I bought this A6 from a guy that said he just replaced a cam adjuster. Pulled codes. P0341, cyl 5, and 6 misfires. I start by swapping CPS. No difference. Swapped plugs, wires, injectors. No difference. I took off the valve cover to find intake cam timing off. Corrected it. No more code P0341. Talked to a tech who once had a similar problems. He said a valve might be slightly bent causing the low speed misfire. Probably caused by incorrect cam timing. So I took off the head and found #5 middle valve bent. Sorry I left out the code in the other thread. At the time I didnt have the code, and didn't put two and two together.

Ok then. OP I would check cam timing, and do a leakdown test on the misfiring cylinders.

Venting venting venting, sorry.

Your points are valid and with good cause.
No big deal. I look forward to your advice in the future.

So have you done anything yet?

If it is your cam position sensor/s you will need to make sure they are properly positioned like Sloop indicated.

If you think it's a cam chain deal like josh talked about you will need to pull the covers and count chain rollers.

If you are not able to do the work you will have to get it to the shop.

Not sure about this part. All I see when I look behind the CPS is a metal cup with a 1" wide slot in it and a nut which bolts it to the cam. It seems kinda foolproof. Could we be talking about different engines or an I just a moron and can't see the obvious. That is a very good possibility because my wife says so all the time.

If you haven't got it yet you need to make sure the little tab on the CPS goes into the slot. (If I recall correctly every wife thinks every husband is a moron, sometimes, so you're in the club.)
