Pass. Rear Brake Light...removing felling insulation
I went to change the rear passenger brake light last night and was weary of the insulation stuff covering the bulb harness..is there some trick to opening this stuff correctly? '02 A6 3.0q...

The bulb assembly just pops out...
<center><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/hliu55/reference/bulbremoval.jpg"></center><p>...if you open the side trunk compartment to get at the back of the tail light on the passenger side, just look into the cubby at the back of the tail light and you will see two black tabs that you need to press inward to release.
This bulb holder holds all three bulbs for the rear light, including the turn signal light (top), backup light (middle), and parking/brake light (bottom, dual filament bulb). These just require a quarter turn to remove from the holder.
