Default Photos that make the new A6 look GOOD...

I'm almost shocked at how much of a range there is with the new A6 in terms of appearance.

Some photos make it look really good, while others leave me cringing.

What makes the A6 look good:

- The right wheels
- The right color
- The right ride height
- The right angle

As I said a while ago, I think the C6 design is ahead of the times (as it needs to be to remain attractive for a 7 year cycle). Right now, there's a bit of resistance, especially to the wrong angles and that car with the shipping spacers installed in CO.

But sooner or later, you'll grow to accept (if not love) the C6. You'll probably own one once you see it in person (ALL Audis look at least 2x better in person than they do on photos).

Here are my favorite shots:

There's plenty of room for a minor update in 4 years, flared fenders, and new wheels.

That 4.2S line photo is the best I've seen to date. I'm curious to find out which models, if any, will be available with a manual tranny.

Default saw one in the flesh today

i saw a new 6 testing in Colorado today. huummm. my option is the tail and 3/4 looks better than i was expecting. the "rake" to the body line makes the car look a little smaller and it has more forward trust...however the front and 1/4 (as long as you can see the grille) is worse than photos show in my view. i can't think what it will look like with a small US license plate. the light and corner details are actually very nice...but the grille?...
maybe it will grow on me, but my glad i've got my S6.

Default Re: Photos that make the new A6 look GOOD...Make mine a coupe.

I thought the current version held up great for all the years in productions. This is Evolutionary and still radical. Good design need not be loved at first look, and in pictures. The new 5 BMW looks awful in pictures, but my neighbor has a new black one and it looks better in person (less awful).

It need not have flairs or big ole wheels to look great.

Order mine in black with burgandy and black interior please. I'll be there in two years to pick it up when my allroad lease is up.

I want a Big coupe. A6 would look great in a coupe. Big coupes are silly, but thats what I like about them. Bently coupes always cool.
