Default Plasti dip interior wood trim A6 C5

i dont know if some one has already done this but o well...

so i never really liked the wood trim on my car i was planing on getting a hold of the rs6 trim but its hard to come by and EXPENSIVE as hell for something that is not going to give me more pony's, and then browsing on the net i hear about the greatest invention in the world PLASTI DIP!!!! hahahaha so i went to some depo and go 2 cans and some masking tape for 15 bucks came up with this solution Plasti dipping the trim and i did check it out... its sloppy as you can see in the pictures but you get the idea, unfortunately they broke in to my house last Friday and stole what little tools i had so i couldn't plasti dip the trip where the shifter and the hand brake is but will do that later on

i use the post to help me get an idea of what i was supposed to do
how to remove trim
how to plasti dip

hope it helps and if some one else has done it post pics

I like it...I'm not a fan of the wood either. Did you remove the trim pieces or just tape them off?

i will admit the wheel coating is pretty slick, i might actualy try it nothing to loose since the previous owner curb checked the **** out of my wheels, only reason for not getting them powder coated is the time to take the tires off, (have a buddy that powder coats for like 10 bucks a wheel )

LOL...someday someone is going to plasti-dip an entire car!!!
Probably an interesting matte finish for a lot less than OEM!!
