to do or find a mod that will increase power while also increasing fuel efficiancy?

or is it a rule of thumb that any mod that increases power automatically is going to consume more fuel? just a thought to ponder i guess....

since i chipped my car, i have noticed my MPG go up... i think simply b/c i do not have the throttle pinned all the time to get the car going IE&gt; lett throttle = same power.

I have a 2.7t 6 speed. I drive fairly agresivly and average about 19mpg. My wife has an allroad and averages about 15...granted her car is heavier.

i would say a cat back exhaust is "free" power w/improved mpg.
