Rear seat removal--- how?
 

My daughter tossed her cookies in the back seat.

How can I pull the bench to get rid of the stink?

Pull straight up in the center of the L and R seating postions.
 

The seat will "pop" upwards a little. After doing both, the seat will then slide forward/up.

You may have some connectors for seat heaters and occupant-presence switches to deal with.

I scarfed some air sickness bags the last time I took a plane ride.
 

Of course, the A8 has enclosed back seat pockets, and not mesh ones like the A6.

There was a bag as part of a Mini ad in AutoWeek last year. I keep that in the car now...
 

...just in case anyone ever needs it.

You'll need to disconnect the wiring for the rear heated seats as well. That sucks!
