Default removing downpipes/converter from turbos

I have been searching like crazy and can't seem to find any good photos or solid info or tips on removing the downpipes from an a6 2.7t. I found a great DIY on gutting the primary cats and relocating the O2 sensor so that I don't have to shell out 400 for piggies. I know from the location that the bolts should be difficult to remove from the turbos that hold the downpipes in place but I would really like to see pics or a video of someone elses experience with this.

I have the Bentley manual on the way and hopefully it will show some of this info but nothing beats a good DIY tutorial.

I bought the car a week ago and going to do some major maintenance to it before I even start driving it so I would like to get all this done the same week. Maybe it's more the I should attempt but this is what I plan to do:

Remove cluster and send that in to get the center LED repaired. Remove the downpipes and gut the primary cats and relocate the sencondary set of 02 sensors. Send the ECU in to APR for stage o1 tuning. Replace the cam gaskets and seals, and the valve cover gaskets. Replace the timing belt and associated parts with the blauparts kit and tool rental. Then after that's complete do the transmission filter and oil.

Too much at once?

No one? Cmon, I know someone here has taken their downpipes off themselves? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Figured it out myself...if anyone needs advice, I may be able to help you. It is a B1TCH!, but with enough patience and persistence, it's obviously doable.

That top 17mm nut on each downpipe is a real b*tch.
Suck it an see my friend.
( I would suggest that a short 17mm spanner will be very useful)
