Replacing N80 Valve canister purge control valve

2011 A6 3.0T Supercharged
Im replacing the N80 valve since I am getting
16825 - EVAP Emission Control Sys: Incorrect Flow
P0441 - 35-00 - -
16839 - EVAP System: Large Leak Detected
P0455 - 35-00 - -
is there anything i need to do before or after to make sure the check engine light doesnt come back on when installing it.
Or is it as easy as remove the old one and replace the new one.
