Default resetting caliper piston

I removed both pistons on HP-2 front brake calipers in order to replace the rubber seals. They blew out easily with air. However, they do not seem to want to go back into their place easily. I've cleaned them well and lubed with brake fluid but they do not want to go back in easily. Is there a trick to doing this?

Make sure that the groove in the pistons is completely clean. Use a pick to remove any corrosion. Any crud in the groove will keep the seal from seating all the way and will not allow the piston to go back into place. When all that is right, the pistons slide right back in with minimal effort.

OK made sure everything was clean and sprayed silicone lub on seal and all. Went in pretty tight until past the seals. Then not so bad. Just didn’t want to force it in case I was missing something. Understand it should be tight.
Thanks
