rs6 mufflers (just mufflers and tips)
Where can a buy rs6 mufflers with tips online?? Called my local audi dealership and they are $560 per muffler with chrome tip.
Any info would be helpful!!

Otherwise, try to score a used set. However they're a pretty hot item so you may be hard pressed to find a good deal on them used.
$560 per muffler from the dealer is really expensive. And the chrome tip is the non-enhanced version. Is your A6 a 4.2? If so, go for the Sport Enhanced RS6 exhaust (flat black tips).

on Ebay or ebay.de (Germany) for a used RS6 exhaust. They do come up about 1 per month. Also check the AudiWorld Classifieds under exhaust. There were 2 RS6 mufflers available about 6 weeks ago from a guy in North Jersey. However, they were not sound enhanced, which is indicated by the black tips vs. polished, non- sound enhanced. Dealer is the only other immediate choice. Even Supersprint & Remus will be about $469.00 per muffler. Be patient and keep your eyes W-I-D-E open! Good luck!

My car is a A6 S-Line. A buddy of mine put the rs6 mufflers on his car-"balck tips", but he got his from a salvage yard. He lives in Wyoming. According to him the with some slight modication to the piping he got them to fit on his A6 2.7t.

Have you heard it? How does it sound?
I actually just got my hands on a set of enhanced mufflers and I would really love to hear what it sounds like before I have them fitted onto the car.
Did your friend leave the stock resonator on?

No he left everything original, except the mufflers. And no he does not have a sould clip nor is he member of the forum. But I have heard it and IMO it really sounds nice and deep.

I'm getting the mufflers from a local AW'er that lives here in my hometown...
so the exhaust does not sound too loud or raspy?
Is there any drone inside of the cabin from it?
