Satellite Radio Questions
Is the satellite radio option on the 2004 A6 in addition to the traditional AM/FM radio or a substitute for it?
Do any of you have strong views on Sirius vs. XM service? -- Rich |
XM has better comedy, but prefer Sirius for the lack of commercials
|
It is in addition to it. I prefer XM due to the programming.

XM will drop commercials 2/04. Sat radio is in addition to AM/FM
|
Slight advantage to XM, but either one is awesome
I guarantee you will barely ever listen to FM after you get sat radio.
I got a SkiFi, so I also use it at home and at work for one subscription. Ten bucks a month--awesome value. |
Sirius was included in the A6 Avant I leased ...
didn't expect to use it, but my wife always has it tuned in - reception is great, commercials to a minimum, and music/entertainment selection is good. When our 3 month trial expires, I'll do a year's subscription - well worth it.

Similar discussion in B5 S4 forum. Think I'd prefer XM.
