Secondary electrical fan not running

Before you give up, I offer the following.
Apparently each of the coolant fans on your car (I have the same) has a different wiring diagram. The one marked 300W is the one that is AC related. The other one is temperature related.
I am uploading both for your comparison.
Good luck, gb

I finished installing the new fan switch in the lower radiator hose and also replaced the fan control unit. The blasted fan still does not run. I need the car so I have put everything back together on it.
If anyone has any other suggestions that don't require disassemble to the service lock position let me know but I think I am going to have to surrender to this.
My planned interim fix is to use the cables from the old module and run a protected line from an ignition power source so the fan runs constantly when the motor is running. Any idea on what size of fuse I should use and a good source of power? This will get me through until I can get the car into a mechanic.

If I wanted to do such a thing, I would use heavy gauge wires and a 40 amp fuse. I would get my voltage from the set of taps above the relay panel (behind the knee panel) on the left side. The one marked 15 is the one controlled by the ignition switch. You may also want to use a load reduction relay, to keep the 40 amps from flowing through the ignition switch.
If this sounds like gibberish, take it to someone who knows how to do this, so you don't burn down your car.

Pardon the question if it is a stupid one, but did you check the plug near the PS res where the fan harness joins the main harness. I've seen this unplugged on few cars, unusually related to someone tearing the front end apart for a repair rather than using service position. Any recent repairs? Plug attatched?

4Driver4, not a stupid question. Yes, I have looked in that area as well. The previous owner sounds like what you have described but they must have gotten lucky as it is still connected.
