Should I go with OEM wheel upgrade or OE replicas?
 

My A6 shoudl be here bu saturday and I am already looking up auctions for the wheels.
I have searched the forum and have found several wheel related threads.
Most of them do not state if the wheels are replicas or Real Audi issue wheels.
.
So my questions or concerns are:

1- Do you guys recommed I go with OEM or OE replicas?
2- Are OE replicas "usually" heavier than the OEMs?
3- If OEM are the wiser ( and probably more costly choice) where do you guys get them from, I mean other than the Stealer?
4- Any online retailer for OEM or OE Replica you guys can recommend?

I am down to 3 design choices..
- The 9 spoke RS6 in 17"
- The Avus in 17"
- The 17" 5 spoke polished on most 4.2s

For a 17" 9 spoke "RS6" wheel you'll have to go replica
 

There is no OEM 9 spoke 17" RS6 wheel. There are the OEM "Celebration" wheels which look similar to the RS6 9 spokes and are available in 17".

For the OEM Avus wheel, you have two choices, the S6 wheel (17x8, ET30) or the S4 wheel (17x7.5 ET 45). Both should fit, the S4 is much easier to find, the S6 wheel will fill out the fenders a bit more.

I had the Avus wheels on my Avant..The 9 spokes are more classy for a sedan I think..
