so....how do you handle garden shed damage?!
I'm not happy. The winds picked up here after a storm this afternoon and lifted my ~200lb aluminum garden shed up, over my harley (scuffing the fender on it's way) and rolled it right over my A6, tail to hood. I now have 'extra' racing strips, scuffs, scratches, dings, small dents, scrapes etc. What a bitch. I immediately took date stamped pictures and called my insurance company. We'll see. I'm just focusing on being glad no windows were broken/scratched, rearview mirrors broken, new Hella smoked tails not busted (one is heavily scuffed now though)....it's all body damage. But I'm amazed that just about EVERY surface suffered in some way. I hope a proffessional shop can buff out the smears. We'll see what can be done about the dings/digs and scratches....hmmm, to get repainted.....do I have to go pearl black?!! aaaah, just a pipe dream....I doubt it could go that far! I'm going to post some pics to my picture poster after I download/shrink and upload in a little while.....wind.........crazy stuff....

I hope they cover it
I knew someone who's car was hit by a rolling dumpster that moved because of the wind, the insurance company clained it was an "act of god" and decided not to cover it..
but still, you're safe, the car is drivable, sounds like you've lucked out so far, though I am sorry to hear about your luck.

Condolences. You may want to post some pics to the Detailing forum so people can offer opinions...
...on what can be buffed vs. painted to repair.
Bummer dude. Sorry it happened to you.

unfortunately will not be able to be buffed if scratches
hang on your nail.
Sorry to hear about your situation.
test: lightly drag your fingernails (palm first) over the scratches. if your nail catches on the scratch/scuff, it is too deep in the clearcoat to be buffed. Wet sanding at that point will thin the clearcoat too much as well, and unfortuantely (or fortunately) repaint is what needs to be done.

Call for repair expert and ask them to repair the outdoor shed so that there will be no major damage to it.
