I gotta do my wife's car and then my a6. I was just wondering if the a4 will be a good "training" car LOL.

About 3 feet, parked nose to nose.

Default There's more plumbing in the way of the 2.7, but the timing belt is the same.

The cam adjuster seals on bank one is easier to access on the 2.7.

In both cases, do a thorough job, use the tools, and skip tearing the front end apart in favor of just placing the nose in service position.
