Default Sugakane, TwoTrey: pics of Tiptronic steering wheel

Sorry it is in centimeters, who uses inches anyway ? :-)

Default 5:12 PM. Wait, how did you guess 5:12 ? ;-)

Some coworkers were wondering why their colleague was taking pics INSIDE his car ? He must be insane....

Default You're welcome. Airbag size ?

Based on the measures on the picture, is your "normal" airbag the same size as the "Tiptronic wheel" airbag ? I would think so.

Talking of your previous post "don't trigger the airbag when taking pictures !", I was quite paranoid when I fitted the wheel: disconnected the battery and wore ear-plugs, just in case !

Herve-
What an awesome job, I saw the tech portion with the swap and I must give it up to you! Maybe when my wife and son are on vacation I'll try this swap on my own. It'd be nice to have my buddy that wrenches at Audi help me out but he's 40-50 miles away and hard to get a hold of. Either way, your set up is sweet! Kudos Kudos Kudos!
