Is it possible to tilt sunroof manually?

Yes - you have to remove the interior light and then drop the panel containing the sunroof switch. Now you have access to the sunroof motor which can be operated manually with the hex crank located in the fuse compartment.

I did that and sunroof slides back but I don't see how to tilt it up? Need to replace gasket. Footwell flooded due to clogged drain under battery. Central locking controller destroyed. Replaced it with used. Can't get power windows to work nor sunroof nor interior lights/reading lights. Radio comes on but no sound from radio. Matched remotes. They lock and unlock.

Have VCDS.

Also what keeps water out of cabin air filter.

Spin the motor the opposite direction to tilt up.
