Now just got to learn how to work it.

Install went fairly smoothly...other than I didn't have the connector for the TMC/CAN. I'll order it tomorrow and install when it comes in. Got a couple of codes that I need to ask TeddyB about but it works great so far.

Damn it was hot today...good to see you again and glad the Nav+ worked fine. The key was the wire...
 

connector that came with the unit. That made it too easy...let me know how the tmc box goes...was it cool on the way home??? Let me know what TeddyBgame says about those codes...

I think I'm going to look into a Phatbox...I dug yours...

how to input a location...it couldn't find Washington DC, so I gave up.....just watched the little arrow all the way to DC. I'm reading the user manual now so I can mess with it in the mornin.

When you buy the Phatbox just make sure you buy the Audi one. You can buy the VW one for cheaper but you'll have to get the Audi cable. You also gonna have to get the BlitzSafe adapter as well. Let me know if you need any help.<ul><li><a href="http://clairparts.com/">Clairparts</a></li></ul>

Definetly get a PBox if you are fond of a wide selection of music! Can't beat the price!! :)
 

Oh, and I'm gonna run by the dealer during lunch to ask about the Nav harness. Hell, with all these local Nav+ installations, maybe I should just go Plus-size Nav. :P

Blitzsafe adapter?!
 

I'm assuming you needed a BlitzSafe (BS...heehee) adapter since you didn't have the CD changer harness pre-wired? All I needed was the PBox &amp; Audi cable; it plugged into the CD changer harness and worked like a charm! :)

Opps....my bad. I got the Blitzsafe for the XM Commander......
 

Absolute is right....you dont need a Blitzsafe adapter for the Audi Phatbox.

I'll just need Ray (rc51rydr) to burn his pbox cartridge for me...good tunes...
