Default Timing or Sensors?

So the other day I got done doing my Cam tensioner. I Put it back together enough to start it. I started first try and about 30 to 60 seconds in... it dies and wont start now after all this I get the vag and p3046 seems to be sticking around. I only worked on the driver side...That codes is for passenger right? and now it just spit firing.

This post needs more info. Cam chain tensioner? Cam belt tensioner? There is no cam tensioner. What was done, what was removed, if timing could have been altered was it reset? What is a P0346 code mean?

Cam chain tension-er, went in to do cam seals cams came out. Driverside only.

P0346- Camshaft Postion sensor "A" Circuit Rang/Performance.

What bank is that? the battery is KO atm it needs a charge,to many dead starts. i scanned the car right before i gave up and the code is gone but battery to week atm. the car wants to turn over but wont it spit fires. the car started right up first time then died out about 20 seconds in. i got pics ill post asap.

Would suggest back to basics here. Verify timing is correct at TDC / crank lock. Possible position sensor is bad but... verify timing manually (is everything lining up?,, TDC, Cams..?)

Unless somebody tells me that this means the cams are out of line. Then this car is going to the ****ing junkyard in the next couple hours. But with that being said if it was misaligned why did it start up perfectly the first time? I only worked on the driver side which bank is that code for?
