Used RS6 front and rear bumper worth?
Hey guys! I recently got an RS6. The dealer who I purchased the RS6 from felt inclined to "freshen up" the RS6 by repainting the front and rear bumper. The front bumper had the infamous parking stop tear at the bottom which my only guess necessitated the bumper being resprayed after it was patched up. The rear may have had some scrapes which also required some respraying. I've taken the car to two high end shops and both stated that the bumpers were never removed and left on when the respray was done. So, I'm assuming there's no real serious accident other than what was mentioned. The bumper condition is great. My only gripe is that the Avus silver color matching is a shade darker than I desire otherwise I would just leave it alone. But I'm one for perfection and don't like parking lot respray jobs - as most dealers will do to save money.
I was originally going to have it resprayed again but decided that it may be worth the effort to sell the current ones. If I can recover some money selling the bumper skins then I may just end up buying new ones. This would only be for the skins themselves as I need the rest of the hardware and trim to put onto the new bumper skins.
any ideas on what these used skins could go for? from CarbonLord's post regarding the part numbers and cost for the RS6 conversion, it appears as though a new front bumper sells for $849 and rear for $969. Would asking 50% off current dealer pricing be a fair assessment?

Repost for RS6 conversion

yes even factory fresh cars have slight variations but...
i have a full two shade difference which really bugs me ALOT and I'm sure a legit professional autobody shop can do a better job than those shady painters dealers hire to spray cars in parking lots.
