i am trying to replace the vacuum lines in my car basically because the heat shield is disintegrating in my hands .. i guess i could go to the dealer but sometimes they are ridiculously expemsive for commodity items.
Anyway the caccum hose in etka shows as 3,5X1,9 -RME-

what does tis mean .. is this OD and ID or is it an ID of 3.5mm with a 1.9mm wall thickness ? mine is so old it is hard to get an accurate reading .. also what about the plastic hose .. is that generally available ? i think the hard part is finding the braided hose ...

check your local auto store, and take samples of your vacuum lines. I bet they have your stuff.

actually i have been all over town and nothing even close .. the only match for Id is a massive OD and looks ugly .. In canada we have limited market for everything it seams .. I really like the braided thin wall tube so will keep up the hunt ..
