Love it or hate it...new A6...??
but it makes you wonder if the trend is going to follow to the new FACE Lift in 2005, w. the new A4?

Hope they don't follow BMW's lead w. the 7 series, then 5 series...etc. Just my opinion!

I think its a well know fact that the updated A4 will get the new grill.

. . .the rollout schedule for the 2005.5 A4 -- a "facelifted" 2004 apparently. The facelift will probably be to get the whole damn family to have that NEW look all at once.

Then, presumably, the 2006's which will be made starting the second half of 2005 will "all be the refreshed" corporate look of new design.

My dealer suggested the 2005.5 will be 90% cosmetic changes leaving the chassis changes for the '06's.

Makes sense to me.

And, Gary, I -- for one -- am pleased with the new A6 look.

Does anyone know if the 3.2 AT LEAST will actually be offered in NA with the 6spd manual that was in the press release?

I have no reason to believe the 4.2 will offer anytyhing but the 6spd tip (but hope springs eternal!)
