Default Will these rims fit on the car without rubbing?

I found 17"x7.5" wheels i would like to buy along with a low profile tire package. They are Audi brand. The car is a completely stock 2000 Audi A6 2.7t Quattro

I bought aftermarket 17's for my 2001 2.7T and they were listed to fit. Nope...brake calipers rubbed so they sent me spacers and longer lug bolts for free. Still a problem because the center hole was too big, so I had to order hub-centric spacers instead. Still could never get them balanced so they wouldn't shake at 65 mph. Finally took 'em off, bought new tires for the original wheels and all is well. I'll give the 17's away (including hub-centric spacers) with tires if somebody wanted to pay the shipping. Otherwise they're headed for the landfill. Here's a pic. Car color is Summit Racing black cherry pearl, by the way....painted in my garage.
