This is usually a sign of the pivots being stuck. The part where the wiper attaches to the arm.

Need to loosen it and lube it.

Yep. Except no dealer around here stocks them, and takes several days for the refills to arrive. Also, it's a bit of a pain to replace from what I read.

Guess I'm lucky my stealer has half a dozen. Learning curve is steep...first one is a pain, second is maybe two minutes.

I put these on my 2004 C5 Wagon. Work great for $20 a blade.

Ok... Still, what i have is the 2002 A6... Different connector than other years. Any suggestions about that?

This is the connector you are talking about, correct?

Since I'm only aware of the standard connector and this connector, that is what I thought you had and the blades that are being suggested will work on that. I may not know the exact connector you are looking at though and I could be wrong.

Then the Bosch, Valeo, or those ECS tuning blades will all work...that is the connector on my car.
