You guys with 4.2's who have the H sport sway bars, Did it change the ride height at all?

Kris Hansen 12-03-2003 09:56 AM

Sway bar should not alter ride height at all, unless it's binding in it's mounts.

AUJ 12-03-2003 10:07 AM

Yes and on my 2.7T as well. Eibach Pros on both.

No change in height, shouldn't be any. Install bars while on muffler rack, much

easier and no binding. Weight of car should be on tires while swap is being done.

not exactly true - the bars can act kind of like a "leaf spring" to load the suspension downward

Kris Hansen 12-03-2003 10:18 AM

Properly designed and installed sway bars should not do this.

I don't want this "feature" either. Hy Octane & AUJ, please explain.

Mine come in tomorrow. Whats the story?

Fla-4.2 12-03-2003 11:02 AM

What was the group buy price ?

"You snooze, you lose" ... I just called &
the deal has expired.

Hy Octane 12-03-2003 11:09 AM

I wouldnt think it should either, but I was just checking. I remember someone...

awhile back mentioned that they caused his car to sit a little higher. Just wanted to know if this was the norm. Dont want it any higher..Thats all.

JAA 4.2 12-03-2003 11:10 AM
