2004 Audi A6 Qua 3.0 TCM Question
 

Has anyone successfully replaced a TCM with a different TCM than previously installed? Is there a way to update any TCM to work in any other vehicle?

I'm currently looking into updating the TCM in my 05 Audi A6 3.2. I don't know for sure if the TCM can be overwritten to work in your car. I do know that any TCM updates would need to come from the Audi dealership because they have to pull updates directly from the "Audi Server".

I would suggest contacting an Audi dealership.
