2005 A6 Verizon Motorola E815
I have had my A6 for about a month and really the car and the Bluetooth hands free phone connection. I have a Motorola E815 phone with service from Verizon and just recently my phonebook, last calls, and all of the other parts in the MMI were shown from my phone. This is the only time that I have been able to have my phonebook available in the car and it has not appeared again.
Does anyone know why the phonebook is not sent via the Bluetooth connection? Is it an Audi or Verizon problem and can it be fixed? I also think that is weird that my phonebook all of a sudden appeared, but stopped working soon after that.

I had the exact same experience that I've been trying to replicate with no luck. The one time phonebook did transfer was after a re-pairing with the car. For some reason, the connection was lost and when I re-connected, everything was transferred to MMI. Later I turned off the phone and then when I turned it back on, the connection was automatic but no phonebook transfer.
BTW, lot's of post here on why it shouldn't ever transfer. Bottom line, Verizon diables OBEX capabilities on their phones. It appears a cradle is needed to make any transfer.
The other choice is to hack into your phone software and enable OBEX. See link.

http://www.howardforums.com</a
