I have a 2005 A6 3.2 - it is leaking oil

It won't damage the engine, but may damage your intelligence to assume that some kind of snake oil will magically fix your leak
The only way to truly fix the leak is to clean the engine bay, then either with a dye or visual inspection, determine exactly where the cause of the leak is: valve cover gaskets, oil cooler, etc...

Valve cover, upper timing chain tensioner covers, oil filter housing &, sometimes, main seal leaks are common on these engines. Various sensor seals also contribute.
Mechanical repair/replacement is the only sure fix.
1st, you need to isolate & identify the leak(s).

Jim, they all leak. Better to perform a correct fix. Check valve cover gaskets and the timing chain cover...they all seem to leak.
