2006 Audi A6 Caractere Body Kit

2006 Audi A6 Caractere Body Kit
I run the risk of getting verbally blasted in this forum but I'll let my work do the talking. I believe I have one of the few A6 Caractere body kits installed, both front & rear. I did the work myself with the exception of the paint. A lot of custom work is required behind the front end to get it to look clean. Cutting plastic, blacking everything out with high heat paint, relocation of the stock horns, and relocation of the parking lights up into the headlights all work together for a cleaner, euro look. The installation is not easy but not over-the-top either.
Additionally, I installed Alcantara suede over the wood panels in the doors and front dash. This is easy to do and it really gets people's approval, both male & female. The shots do not give too much detail but I assure you it's suede. In the next few weeks I plan to attack the center console in the same light silver and cover the steering wheel and shift **** in a darker charcoal Alcantara suede using a pro interior guy. More shots to follow.
The vehicle is stripped of logos but I have a set of slightly smaller, A3-sized Audi rings should the urge hit me to install them. The A6 rings are just a bit too large for my eyes so the A3 versions are less dominant to the vehicle lines. Feedback on the Audi rings would be appreciated.
Lastly, I have Koni FSD's with Eibach springs going in shortly as well. The suspension drop will enhance the look of the vehicle with a fatter, no gap stance which will further compliment the body kit. 20 inch tall, 9 inch wide DPE wheels, painted to match the body color, without visible rivets, will be ordered shortly to complete the vehicle's exterior mods.
I look forward to seeing and talking about more A6 ideas on this forum and I say thanks to quaTTrings and MadAudi for their ideas, information and action on this Avant. MadAudi is a solid company we should all support. I'm a die-hard Audi enthusiast and I hope this forum can remain beneficial to all who partake.

I've had my eye on the rear valence, thanks for the pics. I also like...
the alcantara you did, although I'll probably skip it in mine.
Definitely show the steering wheel and FSD work once done, I'm very interested!

Not bad at all..
I'm not a fan of Audi ring removal, but nice job with the mods. Obviously the car will be transformed when you do the suspension; it will look 100% better for sure.

Very Nice!
The sum of your modifications give your Avant an extremely clean look! Looking forward to seeing your pics with the Koni's installed. Did you end up opting for their grooved struts?
BTW - Thank you for the in-depth steps for installing the alcantra!

Re: Very Nice!
I opted for the grooved struts to have some adjustment wiggle room for the future. Too good of an option to pass up but it most likely voids the Koni warranty coverage. It's not likely to have trouble with the Konis so I went for it. Thanks for the input!
