2007 AUDI A6 Tail Light Help?
Hey guys two questions.. my LED went, so I've got to replace the tail light.. when I install the tail light, do I need to do any programming, or will it work as soon as it's installed? Secondly.. I'm trying to find a tail light but I'm a bit confused. Say I bough this https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Left-Tail-Li...9:pf:0&vxp=mtr
It says it has no LED.. so how does the turn indicator work if I did grab something like this.. Are OEM tail lights the only one with LED, or does anybody know some after market ones? Besides that though, I see people are buying these tail lights, so how does the turn indicator work?

If your have the LED taillights, then you need P/N 4F5-945-095-E (per ETKA 7), which is an assembly. In checking eBay.com, these tail light assemblies are listed for ~$135 - $190 used. The link you provided for that tail light does not appear to fix your problem. AFAIK, a tail light replacement is a Plug 'n Play replacement, no programing required.

AFAIK = As Far As I Know. I recommend that verify what you need by checking the P/Ns of your existing light assemblies so you know for sure which assembly will in fact be Plug 'n Play.

Since I haven't removed any of my taillights, I can only guess where the P/Ns would be. Usually, OEM P/Ns would not be visible on a part that is visible on the exterior or on the interior. So, Audi has then molded into the part somewhere on the backside or interior of the part. The P/N for the headlight assembly should be on the case that is inserted into the body.
