2008 Audi A6 P0346 code
I was hoping someone could help me with this. I have a new to me 2008 S6. On receiving it it had man issues including a fried TCU which I replaced and a long start condition. Meaning that it would crank for long periods of time before it would start. I received the codes for the crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor. I changed both . The camshaft that was affected was the driver side bank two.
Where. I unplug that camshaft I get a p0345 code...but when I plug it back in (same sensor) it gives a p0346. The crankshaft code has gone away for the most part.....ever now and then it is intermittent. Once the car starts it runs fine.
I also changed the oil vvt sensors too. I added oil to the car today as it was look like about a quart low. Once I did that...now the car starts Every Time. I am not sure why or how low oil looks it not to start. The only issue is I am still getting the P0346 code....why? I was afraid that timing is off and the chain has to be done. It has about 121k miles on the car and I was told it affects the nold model A6 this was the last of this style.
Any thoughts
