Hello guys.

I have an A6 Avant 2.4 V6 2006 and recently I found an S6 Avant 2008 and I'm thinking about trading my A6 on it.
The car is is really good condition, looks brand new in the interior and in the exterior, but it is with 200.000 km (125.000 miles) on the clock.
I still didn't have the opportunity to drive it, I'll do it tomorrow, but I would like to know the opinion of the experts

I live in Netherlands and the car is being sold for 19.000 euros, pretty good deal.
What do you guys think ? Too risk to get a V10 with 200k on the clock ? About the engine and gearbox(automatic), what should have been done by now for maintenance ? Any possible problems that can occur after 10 years and 200k km ?

I have no experience with the 5.2, but my old 4.2 started falling apart at the 9 year - 130,000 mile mark. It was cheaper to buy a new car than it was to maintain the old girl. She was a great car.

I'd buy an S6 with all those miles, but I'd check it out thoroughly first. I do ALL my own repairs & maintenance.
If I didn't, I wouldn't go near a 10yr old S6.
