2010 a6 3.0 overheating
 

Notice when a/c is on my fans work but will not keep car from overheating..cut off A/c the fans stop and temperature keeps raising

Sounds like a stuck closed thermostat. Any scan logs?

It was a bad thermostat replace water pump vent tube pcv tube under supercharger all new runner gaskets Got call she all set picking it up Monday all under 1200 aftermarket shop. Dealer 1800 to 2400 quote

Ugh... or you could have done it yourself for a couple hundred and some beers.

...and what’s a runner gasket?? The intake from the SC uses Green round rubber bands, placed on end, not really a gasket per se...

Yeah i called them gasket the sc orings also one sc intercooler bleeder broke the thread insert turns with the plastic bleeder.. ended up replacing both... so far no leaks coolant level drop but settle at a level going to monitor it for a couple more days and then top it off a little.. just having the smell of antifreeze wash engine appears to be spilled Antifreeze from bleeding i watch the guy manual bleed The intercooler and heater core ....then they used vacuum bleeder
