Default a6 4f 2009 external amp + subwoofer

Hi.

I would like to install external subwoofer and amplifier in my a6 2009.
System I have on board is DSP MMI 3g low with active speakers. I got no amplifier in the trunk - only the radio box / tuner.
Anyway there is a fiber wire connected to that tuner box.

Could I use the dietz 1572 to get the signal out from that fiber wire, even that this converter is designed to work with the stock amplifier not with the tuner box?

Here is the pdf ( in English as well when You will scroll down) how to connect it

http://www.acb.no/pdf/1572.pdf

What is the way how it works? Does it only spread the signal from the fiber wire ? If so it looks like I could use it.

Many thanks
Daniel

It says in the Pdf that it works with MMI High (2G) system . I highly doubt it will work with 3g system. You can connect the MOST fiber optic cable to include it in the loop, the problem is that the control module of your car will not recognize it.

So I've found the other way - with using that kind a converter :
Active High-Low Interface with remote - Audiotechnik Dietz - Online Shop

so I just need to connect to the existing wiring from the tuner box.
I have found the pin assignment,in German only :

1 - Lautsprecher (+) hinten rechts
2 - Lautsprecher (+) vorn rechts
3 - Lautsprecher (+) vorn links
4 - Lautsprecher (+) hinten links
5 - Lautsprecher (-) hinten rechts
6 - Lautsprecher (-) vorn rechts
7 - Lautsprecher (-) vorn links
8 - Lautsprecher (-) hinten links
9 - Subwoofer in Hutablage -R157-
10 - Mittelhochtonlautsprecher Mitte - R158-
11 - Ringbruch-Diagnoseleitung
13 - Subwoofer in Hutablage -R157-
14 - Mittelhochtonlautsprecher Mitte -R158-
17 - NF-In links
18 - NF-In Masse
19 - NF-In Diag
21 - NF Diag
22 - NF (-) von Vorrüstung für Handyvorbereitung
23 - NF-In rechts
24 - NF-In Schirm-Masse
27 - NF Schirm-Masse
28 - NF (+) von Vorrüstung für Handyvorbereitung C
29 - Kopfhörerausgang 1 Diag
31 - Kopfhörerausgang 1/2 Diag
34 - Kopfhörerausgang 2 Diag
35 - Kopfhörerausgang 1 links
36 - Kopfhörerausgang 1 Masse
37 - Kopfhörerausgang 1 rechts
38 - Kopfhörerausgang 2 links
39 - Kopfhörerausgang 2 Masse
40 - Kopfhörerausgang 1 rechts
41 - Klemme 31
42 - Klemme 30

and this is a picture of the wiring in my vehicle :

could somebody help me with the wires? which one should I stick to?
or maybe it is possible to simply use 'high in' connection from my amp ( hertz ep2) that would be easy if only I would find the remote wire in existing wiring?

Finally I've bought dietz high -low adapter.
Should work but...
I have used this pinout to find the wires ( it's from A1 but I do have the same dsp unit) :
Audi Workshop Manuals > A1 > Vehicle electrics > Communication > Infotainment > MMI infotainment system > Pin assignment for radio (MMI)
pins 2,3,6,7

Amp is receiving the signal ( it's turning on and off when it should) but the subwoofer is getting no signal.
Second thing is that the front speakers after taping high-low adapter sound strange - bass is switching on and off. I have disconnected the adapter and now they sound again fine.
Did I used the wrong wires to tap in? Should I maybe choose the wires from the rear speakers pin 1,4,5,8 ?
Or some wires from D section from the wiring diagram?

Please help !
