Reposting this in the right discussion..!!

I have a 2006 Audi a6 quattro 3.2. Recently I've been having problems after not moving the car for more than a few hours.
Here's what happens: Starts up normally. When I take off, the auto transmission won't shift past 2nd, and the rpms jump like crazy. When I stop
the car, it starts vibrating a LOT. The light for the ESP came on once. If I shut off the engine and turn it back on, it all goes away.
Took it to Audi, they said there were no codes for the transmission cu and they couldn't find anything wrong with it.. I was thinking maybe an ABS issue?

Chris, do you know how many miles are on the car? When was transmission last serviced? When was fluid level verified?

The car has about 130 000 miles right now. I'm not really sure what has been done with the transmission in the past, because I just got it recently. Everyone I've talked to so far seem to think it's technological

Hi Chris2289, did you solve your problem?

If so, what was the problem?

My car has almost the same faults and they cant find anything that makes it tick as it should..

For the record, i also have a Audi A6 3,2 FSI.
