I was quoted 200 for labor, 80 for the sensor and 145 to refill. I have access to my friend's garage with all the tools. One again the question remains unanswered. Will I need to drain refrigerant to replace the sensor. The eay the sensor is build, it might not cause AC to discharge when replacing. I was hoping to clear this up.

If your friend has access to a Bentley's or some other repair manual I'd look at it. The answer should be there. I don't have a Bentley's for my 2010 yet. Will probably get one soon.

So I finally got this done. After few weeks of research (mainly on German forums), I was finally able to tackle this project. To remove AC Pressure Switch, there is no need to drain the refrigerant however, in my case (just like TSB states) the sensor itself was leaking R134A and the system was completely empty. The old sensor is white in color and the new one is black. After replacing the sensor (had to drop front bumper), did the vacuum test where no leaks were found. Refilled the system with 550mg of R134A, reset fault code associated with G395 sensor and so far so good. AC is igloo cold!

Do you still have the forums that you were using or could you tell me where exactly the sensor is at? And how did you reset the fault code?

I'm curious if replacing the sensor fixed the problem? I have the same issue
