ACCESS START MODULE BYPASS?

Default ACCESS START MODULE BYPASS?

HI ALL,

i have a 2005 a6 c6
the access start module went bad and i was wundering if
there was a way to bypass it just to make the car turn on so that i can make it to my mechanic to replace.

please help

I don't think that you can bypass the modules. And how you know is the access start module? Do you have the advance key? Search for module like yours and replace it.

Yes ive looked into it and it all points to the access start module, the key is even still stuck in the ignition.

They are talking about remote starter on there, I dont have that.

Sorry my bad, a bypass module from that remote start DIY would probably do the job

i have bad and worst and catastrophic news.

the bad news is that - no part number (the access/start module is integrated with Steering Column Lock Actuator)

the worst news is that - (the access/start module is integrated with Steering Column Lock Actuator) is not replaceable.

and

the catastrophic news is That - u have to replace the whole steering column and is $1500+

SORRY

there is 2 part numbers for it and it depend from the VIN number

sorry again that i have to deliver the bad news
