Bump
Hi sorry for bumping this old topic
but i have the same problem compressor probably burnt because of relay car pumped intil battery dead and I heard the compressor struggeling and then a hiss like a airline blew so hoping the compressor made it. I am going to lift the car this weekend but for now i have a question. I took my relay out (to late) and cant remember the orientation
Thx

Normally, relays can only be inserted into their socket in one orientation due to the spade orientations and width. Also, the relay number, e.g., "970", is usually aligned so it is directly readable with the cover off.

How do you get to relay
Plenum chamber = box in engine bay, under windshield drain cover, in front of fire wall.
Right side box also houses ECU.
There are 2 relays both with 373 stamped on them.
Both are part number 8D0951253C.
Which one is the adaptive air suspension (compressor) relay?
I read that the 373 is interchangeable with 204 and 214. Can someone confirm?

Due to a water leak into the ECU electrical box, I recently had to replace relay J403. To access, your have to do the following: 1. Remove the plenum cover. 2. Remove the wiper arms. 3. Remove the two Torx screws and then the plastic lower windshield edge (snaps in-place along the bottom of the windshield. 4. Remove the Torx screws (I believe there are 5 total) that secure the ECU cover, and then remove the cover on the passenger side of the plenum. The relay is located to the right and below the ECU.
