Audi a6 2009 3.0TDI misterious buzzing/grinding sound
Hi guys. Last week I started to hear a grinding whining sound from my front left wheel. I took my front left wheel off and had a visual inspection of the suspension parts. All was visuali looking ok to me, but i noticed some ruber from my tyres on the steering knuckle. I don't understand how can my tyres tuch steering knuckle when there is aprox 3cm gap between them. I added some pictures of how this looks in the attachments. If you check out this youtube video

Have you scanned the car for error codes, possibly something related to the self levelling system?
Have you tried engaging “jacking mode” on the MMI then parking the car overnight to see if that corner sinks? It’s possible there is a leak in the air strut which causes the car to run low on that corner.

Typo error on the AMM article, the A4 tested was a 3.0TDI not a 2.0TDI according to the AMM website.
