Audi A6 C6 Front Window Regulator Removal
I could not find any instructions on this so I am posting them here. There are several videos on Youtube regarding how to remove the door panel, so I am starting after that.
This first picture shows the screws you need to remove to lift out the window frame on the left 1/2 of the door and the two on the bottom.
Left and middle part of door. 1) 3 small screws along top 2) 1 large screw on top left 3) 1 large screw in hole of jamb just above latch (see arrow) you will need to put out a plastic plug to get to it. 4) 2 smaller screws around bottom of door which hold lower portion of window rail. (need to remove speaker box)
Upper right portion of door. 1) large silver screw near top right 2) smaller black screw down about 6 inches 3) small screw in mirror wing. You need to pull off a plastic panel to get to it. See other picture about that.
Here is the back side of the plastic panel inside the door opposite the rear view mirror. Note that this needs to pull straight out, so you will need to pull back the rubber seal from its channel in that part of the door.
Door seal unclips from lower part of main door. Leave the seal in the window frame and it will come out with the frame.

Remaining window instructions
I was unable to post the remaining pictures so here are the rest of the instructions:
1) Push the wire harness for the rear view mirror (front side of door in middle) into the door. The harness comes out with the frame.
2) After removing the regulator motor, you will need to push the 3 plastic clips into the door. This regulator comes out with the frame.
3) After installing the repaired window frame, make sure to snap the white plastic clip that is probably dangling on the cable in the top middle of the door. This clip snaps into a hole on the top middle door frame in such a way that it presses the window glass against the outer rubber seal so that the window glass does not rattle and makes a water tight seal. The glass rubs against this white plastic clip.
