Hey chuckee98, I see you posted the diagram of the parts for the belly pan. Do you have a diagram for the fender liner? Where do you get them from?
Where do you order your parts? I am going to have to order some parts if Audi does not give in and fix my car.
Long story short, I just bought my 08 last month and I just realized that I am missing one screw on each side of the fender liners and I am missing the splash shied on the drivers side. I called and spoke to Audi today, and they said these parts are not covered under warranty, that is BS, and I am talking to the service mgnr on Monday. I think I have a good case. All the service has been done on the car at their dealerhship and the car is brand new, they should of fixed these parts before they sold me the car. I kind of feel cheated.

My drivers side doesn't have a outer dowel holder... The holder clips in behind piece #3 *I think. Tried loosing #3 n getting behind it but failed... I got so frustrated. I gave up w plans to reattempt it when warmer weather arrives. It may require a big dismantling. The holder is required or the dowel doesn't stay in place. ..I can just see a tech putting the dowel on just for appearance and having the thing fall out n puncture a tire

Cebo, I am using the pins I got from Land Rover for my LR3. They are ridged on two sides...put the pin in, then turn 90 degrees. Seem to be working pretty well so far.

As hrc4u suggested, they are much cheaper on eBay!
I just ordered a whole set of dowel pins (A & B) and the dowel pin bases (C) (5 of each) for under $20
Here are the link if anybody else is looking for some:

Hi,
This answered the exact question I was looking to answer. Thank you! On my 2008 A6 C6 4.2 the outer fender liner through spoiler to chassis fasteners needed to be longer than the 2 (each side) inboard fasteners, and NO WHERE in any of the parts diagrams (or any of the fastener parts kits) does anyone offer this part (4A0808121C) as the correct part to use there. The "A" part just does not work. My guess is a dealer would not be able to get me the right part given the parts diagrams don't have this part as used on this car.

These outboard ones clearly need to be longer due to the thickness of the spoiler that these have to go through as well as the fender liner. The dealer who serviced this car for its whole life apparently tried to force the shorter ones in (and there were none there when I went to change my oil today), and in doing so, they mangled the receiver (4A0805163). So I had to replace the receivers too...which was a very frustrating job, as there is just no easy access. But I figured a way to do it without disassembling the whole front end, with a couple of cable ties to pull it in from behind, and a hole in the inboard side to compress the part that snaps in, so it snapped in.
So, thank you for the part number!
