I am looking for what woud be best for diagnosis my audi and vw cars unsure of what software to buy for a laptop but also need the function of being able to program keys and or imoblizer what ever is needed to get new keys to work. i heard of Odis vagcom and vsds. Im new at this use to a snapon scanner for american cars. can anyone point me in the right direction. and also is there any chance the obd2 connector from my snapon will work with what ever software reccomended.

VCDS and Vag-Com are the same thing, and you want that. I'd get a RossTech HEX-V2, they do anything and don't break the bank.

what is ross tech is that a cable or software.and where is the best place to get vag-com.

Bob, RossTech produces the VCDS product. You buy the cable and download their software to your PC.
