A strange problem. I'll be on the phone using the handsfree (I have an Blackberry 8700 model) when suddenly, I lose my call because my phone reboots. This ONLY happens when I use the Bluetooth in my car. My phone never does this when I am away from the car. I have tried swaping the phone for a new one, I have all of the latest patches for the phone, and when I was at Audi two months ago, they said that I have the latest MMI software.

So, has anyone experienced a similar problem with a Blackberry or any other phone? Blackberry support hasn't been able to find the problem - they say "check with Audi". Audi says "its your phone". Great.

I am trying to narrow down this problem...any ideas would be appreciated. Those of you who have Blackberries know that it takes about two minutes for rebooted phone to go live again. Some other message boards say that the Bluetooth in the A6 must send a signal of some kind that causes the phone to reboot. Not sure about that.

but, it has become less frequent. Don't know why it used to be while I was talking now it only happens when I shut the car off. Either way I don't have the solution just share the frustration.

I've searched everyone for a solution to this problem but to no avail. Like you, it is intermittent it seems. I usually experience it when I am talking. I was fine for about 1.5 months but it started happening again this week - 3 times in one week - including for the first time, a hard reset after I turned off the car - just like you. Frustrating!
