Bluetooth malfunction/radio skipping

Bluetooth malfunction/radio skipping
I recently purchased a used 2005 A6 and have been loving the car but I took it into the dealer to figure out why the radio and cd function skip every 25 seconds. They said it is a Bluetooth malfunction and that I need a new radio module which will run north of $800. I wasn't prepared to spend the money as I was hoping to find an alternative fix for the problem. Is there any way to reset the Bluetooth or disable the feature? Is it a simple firmware upgrade issue and if so where do i get that cd? I used bluetooth for the first couple of weeks that I had the car and it then disengaged and I was not able to sync with my phone. Thanks for the help.

Try getting tune2air WMA3000A from viseeousa.com just simply plug it to AMI port and you can stream music via bluetooth, you can also control, read, and display the iPod library on your phone. Automatically connects your phone via bluetooth every time you're in the car.
